Rose is a very beautiful flower. It has a sweet smell. I love roses. Rose has five colours.

The colours are white,pink,red,orange and yellow.

Yesterday I went to dhanya chechi’s engagement. We started from our home in the morning. Then we went to dhanya chechi’s house. Then we  went to the kalyanam mandapam.

Then we went to the first floor. Then I saw dhanya chechi wearing a sari. Then dhanya chechi was ready. I took some photos of dhanya chechi.

Then I played with appu cheta for sometime. Then we all ate some food.

Then we went to our car ford figo my new car. My new car’s colour is light green. Then we got into our new car ford figo.

Then we again went to dhanya chechi’s house. Then we went to our home. THANK YOU.

My name is meghna. I am seven years old. I speak Malayalam in my home.I am studying in THE SCHRAM ACADEMY school. My classteacher’s name is sajna mam. Now I am in standard II C. My favourite song is parvanendumukhi.

Meghna has been selected to participate in the South Zone Drawing Contest conducted by Shree Chakrapani Fine Arts and Educational Trust, Mangalore, under Category 1 (Pre Primary to Std I). She is one of the five students selected from Tamilnadu Region.

The final round will be held in Mangalore on May 11 and 12, 2011.

Meghna did this collage of Vegetable and Fruits Printing for her school children’s day contest 2010.  The theme was a Farm. Potato, Carrot, Ladys Finger were used to create the pumpkins, hen, sheep, flowers and the sun.

Clouds, Grapes and tree were done by finger printing. She used acrylic colours for the printing. Crayons and Pencil Colours are also used in this collage.
